Classes
Boxing: Our Boxing program is for men and women ages 16 years and up. The techniques we teach are the fundamentals of the boxing’s sweet-science. Our boxing class is going to offer you a great cardio workout, knowledge about effective hand to hand combat and self-defense. We have 5 levels of boxing expertise, and promotions. Whether you are looking to become a world champion or just looking for a great workout this class is the one for you!
Kickboxing: Our Kickboxing program is our most popular class and is a great fit for men and women ages 16 years and up. We have two styles of kickboxing we offer at GTC. Muay Thai is an art based out of Thailand involving a large varity of striking techniques. In this class you will be learning punching combinations, kicking variations, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and body clinching along with body conditioning. Muay Thai is for the person that wants to learn the effective finshing moves for a self defense or a competitive level. Our other Kickboxing class is great for people looking for a fun cardio workout involving a high energetic style of martial arts. Our kickboxing classes have 5 levels of expertise, and promotions. These are large classes and very interactive with other members, so if you like learning and working out in groups this would be the class for you!
Cardio Kickiboxing: Cardio kickboxing is an upbeat non-stop workout for men and women ages 18 years and up. If you like good music and outgoing people, this would be the class for you. This is a full body workout including kicking, punching, bag work, sweating, and a whole bunch of fun!
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu: The Jiu-Jitsu taught at GTC is the best you can find and will be a fit for men and women ages 16years and up. representing the Gracie Network, and from the tutalidge of legend Royce Gracie you will be learning the techniques that put Mixed martial arts on the map. Jiu-Jitsu is the art of controlling you opponent with out using strikes. If you are looking for a self defense class, this would be your best option as you will learn to control a person no matter of there size and strength. We offer Gi(kimono), and No-Gi(with out kimono) classes, but if you are wanting to be promoted in the Gracie belt system you will have to learn with the Gi. These classes are large and very interactive and will give you a great out look on self defense!
Junior Champs Program: Our Jr. program is for boys and girls ages 8-16 of age. If you are looking for building self esteem, self confidence, interaction with other kids, or just a great base to martial arts this class will fit you perfect. In this class we teach boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, karate, discipline, respect, goal setting, and fitness. Martial Arts is such a positive learning tool for all aspects of life and a great for growing kids!
Submission Wrestling: This is a very tough class and is a fit for men and women ages 16 years and up looking to take their fight game to the next level. You must have experience to be involved in this class as this class will test your conditioning, heart, mental and physical toughness. In this class you will be put in worse case scenarios, and be learning power positioning and submissions. This class is a combination of jiu-jitsu and wrestling.
MMA (Mixed Martial Arts): Mixed Martial Arts is the art of combining more than one style of martial arts together. This class is for men and women ages 16 years and up. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world and is also the one of the largest fitness crazes right now. If you like to work out but lose interest fast, you will not lose interest in this program. You will be learning all of the effective tools to becoming the best of the best! If you want to learn boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, submission wrestling, judo, self defense, self control, confidence, speed, agility, endurance, power, balance, rhythm, respect, discipline, motivation, goal setting and enjoy a full plate, this is the class you are looking for!
